Conspiracy- The Mena Corruption

Many people think lightly, even jokingly about those who always have government "conspiracy" theories to everything. But this is a true story that will really open your eyes. It's a long documentary, but take the time to watch it.. it will definitely hold your attention and leave you amazed at how powerless you are in this "free" country. We need a change. Power needs to be shifted away from these politicians.
Do you remember when you would sneak out with your friends back in the day... every town it seems had it's rumors or places with a strange story that made every kid curious- a haunted house. An abandoned mine. Or how about a military base? Where small personal planes fly low at night.. with their headlights OFF. And can be seen dropping packages. ...Wouldn't you be curious?
So were Kevin Ives & Don Henry. Like any curious teens would, they decide to spend the night together and sneak out, to go check it out... maybe get a glimpse of what these planes are dropping secretively over the military base. The next morning their severed bodies are found on the train tracks outside of the military base at Mena, Arkansas on August 23rd, 1987 (two days before my 3rd birthday). At first it sounds like a horrible accident... but it was no accident. And it is MUCH more horrible than it sounds.

The State medical examiner, Fahmy Malak, rules the boys deaths an accident... sounds pretty reasonable, right? Except for the fact that 3 members of the train's operating crew told the cops they observed the boys laid out on the tracks from a distance, not moving. ...With a TARP partially covering them.

So maybe the medical examiner just made an honest mistake? ...Of course. And he must have also "forgotten" to mention that one of the boy's had a stab wound in the back. And the other's head was cracked open from the blow of what appeared to have been a rifle butt. So maybe it wasn't an honest mistake. But why would the STATE MEDICAL EXAMINER lie about 2 teenage boys??? Now the story gets kind of weird. This guy on his own is quite a freak, later it surfaces that he's covered up many homicides as "accidental" deaths that would have attracted attention to certain political figures. At least 20 other of his rulings were reversed to homicides after an investigation. But he has friends in high places... and they keep him there to cover up the murders from the dark side of politics. You'll never guess who the main man keeping him in power is... but he was our president a while back. I'll give you a hint... "You're welCOME, Monica" ; )

When the cops showed up, the Police Chief told everyone to treat the crime scene as a typical accidental death- Which means evidence will not be collected & tracked, and there will be no investigation, basically just a "clean up" of the mess left over. ...What!? Their mother can't believe that after her sons are murdered outside a military base in their hometown, the cops close the case with no questions asked as an "accidental" death. In the video, the police chief is quoted talking about how thoroughly they searched the scene and "couldn't find" anything to suggest this was a murder... the mother tears up as she mocks his reply, stating that they did such a "thorough" job that they left one of the boy's feet at the tracks for 2 whole days, which had been severed off from the train and is shown in a picture from the scene.
So wait, the police are in on this, too? Why would the police walk away quietly from a scene where obvious foul play led to the death of 2 young men? You need to watch these videos and find out... In this story, there really is corruption at every.. coroner (couldn't resist). And those people who really try to investigate the incident are defamed, thrown in prison, and run out of town. The mother of the boys finally thinks she gets help from 2 prosecutors.. who ended up being in on the scandal the whole time. Poor lady must HATE the government by now.

Oh, and just to spice it up even more... When an investigation FINALLY begins, witnesses and friends start dropping like flies.

-One of the boy's friends, Keith Coney, tells his mother that he knows too much.. he claims he went to meet up with the other 2 that night. He dies almost as soon as the investigation begins, in a motorcycle accident. While being chased at high speeds by a car. It appears his neck was partially slit before his accident. No investigation was conducted and his death was ruled a traffic accident.

-Keith McKaskle had information on the boy's deaths. He tells his family that someone is out to kill him, and gives them a final "goodbye" before being stabbed to death.

-Gregory Collins had information on the Ives/Henry deaths. He died from a gunshot blast to the face in January 1989. Declared a suicide.

-Jeff Rhodes had information on not only the boys death's, but also on Keith McKaskle's. His burned body was found in a trash dump the next Spring. He died of a gunshot wound to the head and there was some body mutilation, specifically that his hands and feet had been partially sawn off, leading to the speculation that he was tortured prior to being killed. The body was then burned.

-James Milan had information on the Ives & Henry deaths. He was decapitated. Remember that no good state Medical examiner, Fahmy Malak? He initially ruled James' death "due to natural causes". Of course. Because after a certain age, your head just falls clean off.

-Richard Winters became a suspect in the deaths of Ives & Henry, but had offered to cooperate. Too bad he was killed by a shotgun blast to the face during a "robbery" in July 1989. Oh yeah, the robbery was later found to be a setup simply to make the murder look unrelated.

Here's the video. After part 1 is over you should find the next parts in the videos that come up as related, etc etc. There are a total of 6.

Writing: One-Sentence Short Storys

I came across a website a while back that intrigued me, it was an online competition for writers to submit their short stories with the chance at winning a cash prize. But these weren't regular short stories- each "short" story could only be one sentence in length.

It sounds kind of stupid, and it can be if you don't really think about it. But one sentence can truly be PACKED with meaning, and I think that was the point of this competition and others like it, to show how powerful just one simple sentence can be.

At any rate I was trying to look up others, there is one website but it's about "true one sentence stories" and while some of them are amusing, they are totally missing the point about being -powerful- or -moving- sentences.

Of course, I'm no writer, so perhaps I shouldn't be one to critisize, but at any rate I'd like to share extremely short stories, preferably one sentence but they can be more as long as it's no more than 15-20 characters, MAX. They can be fiction or non-fiction, but something that is just powerful or moving and that you can sit around and actually think about... a sentence(s) that invokes a story in your mind all on it's own. So if you have any to share, please leave your name and your shor story, and others leave comments if you like them! Here is mine:

FORCED to walk the plank, I CHOSE to dive gracefully.

Now let's hear yours!

First time in a Desi Shop- Buying Pan Parag

The Paki guy at the gas station down the street is always really cool, I usually stop by there for 40's or something but I decided I wanted to try out some Betel nut mix... I walked in his store and greeted him with "asalamalakum" which he replied to, then I asked him if he sold any Pan. He seemed confused at first, he probably didn't understand me, so then I mentioned about betel nut mix and he lit up, he's like "AH You're into that kind of thing??" I'm sure white people don't ask for that much haha. He informed me he didn't sell it but he pulled out a little tin and poured some into my hand, he also pointed me to a desi store down the street which sold it, which is where he buys his.

I went there the next day and got this-

Woo so now I finally get to try it! We'll see how it works out, I tried a little bit but I'm unsure on the dosage, it def gave me a little energy boost with the little bit I did. Tasted a lot better when I was drunk though, haha.

Friendship- Moving on to better friends

Friendship is one of the most familiar & common of interpersonal bonds. Some people (I used to be a part of this group) feel that the ties of friendship are stronger than those of your own blood.
But what makes people who were at one point inseparable split apart?

There's a lot of reasons friendships can nullify over periods of time. It could be due to something such as distance, such as when young friends are separated by their families relocating.

Or perhaps you start to realize that a person's friendship is bringing you down or preventing you from being the person you want to be. For example, one of my old best friends who was also my first real roommate was Luke S. We became very close friends, and I still consider him a brother to this day even though we don't talk very often. When we lived together we were (being in our late teens/early 20s) in our wilder stage, and we would drink a lot and do things we shouldn't have been doing. Luke got married and had a kid and thus he realized he needed to snap out of that stage and started trying to focus on other things. But when we hung out, he had the urge to drink (more than usual) and do other things that weren't, in his opinion, morally acceptable. Eventually he decided to cut his association with me and although he never told me why, I eventually pieced together that the reason was because he felt like my friendship was having a negative impact on him. Not that this was my fault, because it wasn't- but it doesn't matter who's fault it was. The fact remains that when he was around me, he had urges to do things he didn't feel were right- Party, do drugs we used to do when we were younger, go looking for other girls etc.

Or it could be the opposite, instead of someone feeling like a friendship is having a negative effect on them, they might just find people who they enjoy to associate with more, and then invest time in those relationships instead of the current friendship. Maybe they don't want to invite you (the old friend) because they feel you would take attention off of them in their new group, maybe they fear their new friends would like you better. Or maybe they think your new friends would think you were nerdy, or bad association, or something else that would embarrass them so they never bring you around. This is the more selfish way a friendship dies, but the fact is we've all had people that we hung out with (usually when we were young) that we really only hung out with because A) we had nothing better to do sometimes and/or B) they were close/convenient association. Sometimes though your interests just plain change, and you find new friends who share your new interests or hobbies. There is nothing wrong with that, but personally I have always felt unless there is a real reason for not talking to an old friend (such as them bringing you into situations that are trouble) you should try to stay in touch with your old friends and at least see how they are doing. That can be hard because you may know that if you make contact with a person they will try to scold you for not hanging out with them, and hanging out with your new found friends more etc. Or maybe they will invite you to hang out and you know you really won't want to hang out, but you still just want to keep in touch. I still think it's best to try to keep in touch somehow, maybe email or myspace/facebook... shoot a message every month or so and ask how the person is doing.

Because when you move on to "better" friends, just like any other type of relationship, those friends may move on to someone "better" than you.

Mike's party turned crazy- aka helping a criminal with "his" cars

So it was my old friend Mike Townson's bday, actually today is officially it- but last night he had some people together at Rhett's place out in Anna (a good party spot because it's out in the boonie's).
The party itself was great, it was a perfect night- we had a sweet bonfire going. Had fun at the zipline from the huge tree that brought back memories of parties back in the day... some guy made "Beer hot air balloons" and attempted to launch them. Unsuccessfully. They burst into flames and that was about it.
But, as usual, I somehow get involved in fucked up shit unknowingly.. and now I remember why I've been staying home so much...

Ok first, the party was a real blast. There was a good turn out and everyone had a good time. But then around 4am most everyone had left except a few people passed out inside and me, Roman, Rhett and a friend of Rhett's were the only one's left outside drinking and chatting it up. I see 2 vehicles a ways down the road and it looked like one was broke down and the other was trying to help him, so being the drunkenly good samaritan that I am I start walking over to help them out... well Rhett is like dude where are you going stay here, but Roman followed me to help out.. I approach this white guy in a leather jacket and I'm like what's up you need some help?

The Guy: My brother got his car stuck in this ditch man we can't get it out!
*I notice the back tire of this van is stuck in the mud in a ditch off the side of the road*
At this point he starts telling me his little brother had been drinking and had ran off, and he promised his brother he would stay behind and take care of it. I was drunk and didn't pay much attention to the story, I was in the mud trying to hook a wheel strap on the under frame of this van.. then he tells me to get in his truck while he is in the van and try to push it out while he's gassing it.
We tried this for a few minutes, and then realized we were just digging the back tire into the mud even more. The man was REALLY anxious to get out of there and he said he would give us a QP of weed if we got him out. I got out and was like man this isn't working but you need to get this thing out soon before the cops roll by... I was like man I've got some legal shit going on I'm not trying to get stopped by the police tonight.

At this point he lifts his shirt up showing off a .45 revolver and is like "Yeah.. neither am I. Let's hurry up." I start to realize this is a strange situation I've gotten myself into, and I look in the van that is stuck in the mud and notice that it's full of big screen TV's (like 4 huge ones in the back) and a bunch of brand new stereo's and electronics all in boxes, piled up in the car, even the passanger seat was stacked FULL of boxes.

I then notice this guy has white latex gloves on. It hits me that my finger prints are now on both cars, and at least one of these cars is stolen because the guy is not concerned at all about the condition of these cars, he is telling me to ram one into the other to get it out of the ditch.

I look at Roman and I'm like ok man we need to get out of here, then I turn to the dude and I'm like hey look we've been trying to help you for 30 min this isn't working out.. but we have to JET. Now. He's like fuck ok whatever. I told him he needed to hurry up and get out of there and he just growled I KNOW..

We go back to the front of the house and keep drinking and hanging out talking about how weird this is, and then eventually Rhett and his friend drive out there and ram the guy out of the ditch, but one of his tires was already stripped at this point. Rhett gets back and is like man I think I'm going to call the cops I don't want this guy in my neighborhood- which is understandable. I'm like alright man do what you want, this guy isn't getting out of that hole. Rhett is like actually I just helped him out of it in like 5 min. We had tried for about 30 with negative success.. he must have just rammed that car good, haha.
So the first time Rhett and his friend drove by they saw the guy had a handgun on him, they went back to the house and got an AK-47 and AR-15 and brought them back when they went to help the guy.
After Rhett calls the cops we decide we should go see if the car full of loot is still there, maybe we can score off it- haha. We are driving and suddenly a cop car pulls out of nowhere and quickly blockades the road so we can't get past. He questions us about everything and we tell him what happened.

Anyway, later on the cops apparently called Rhett back and said thanks to our direction they found this guy, both cars were stolen and he had managed to drive the van with a totally blown out tire (the whole tire stripped off and was on the side of the road) and then wreck it and flip it over.

Crazy night.. I'm glad I made it home safe, thank Jehovah that there wasn't any trouble! I was just trying to help the guy.

Actually I'm pretty sure if you start at 3000 and go up (3001, 3002, etc) they are created in order. Some will probably not work if they are no longer active, but that would be an easy way to add, maybe more efficient than starting at the lower numbers since higher numbers are more recent, meaning more likely to be checked quicker. ; )
